There's nothing there that is special that is being withheld from hisec players (which was the point of the OP). Well if you want to mine there, you'd have to put your exhumer in your blockade runner.
Yes indeed, but so.you get there safely.and then how and where do you acquire an Exhumer or whatever in there ? No markets (from what I've been led to believe). Obviously if you don't know about how nullsec works and how to be safe it will be dangerous, but there's nothing particularly dangerous about it. I would fully expect it to be an uneventful trip. The only reason to specifically access ore stations is to buy barge BPOs, and anyone can do this freely. Even if you don't have pvp skills, its a simple matter of getting in a frigate/interceptor/covops/t3/blockade runner and flying there. Sure if you literally try to mine there in a station system some people will come shoot at you, but its no different than anywhere else in lowsec/nullsec, and honestly its quite a bit quieter than any other NPC nullsec I'd been to.
There are a few small corps/alliances that live in outer ring, no one major. I lived there (solo) for a few weeks and this was not my experience. I've never heard of solo high sec player with a successful attempt. There are huge controlling Alliances in there that provide a measure of safety for their members yes.įlying solo down there is indeed a huge risk. Yes I am aware that there are a lot of miners in null but do they have unhindered access to ore stations? As a hisec carebear I assume that it is total suicide to go to outer ring.
